What is your legal background?
Our lead attorney, Attorney Yates, received his JD from Wake Forest University School of Law in 1982, and has more than 30 years of experience in representing clients for thousands of criminal and DUI cases. From 1985 to 1989, he served as the Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney for the City of Virginia Beach, giving him valuable knowledge of how the prosecution process works.
What are your credentials?
Attorney Yates is licensed to practice in the states of irginia, Florida, and Utah. In 1997, he earned a Board Certification as a Criminal Trial
Specialist from the National Board of Trial Advocacy (NBTA). He is also
part of the American Bar Association, National Association of Criminal
Defense Lawyers, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, and the Virginia
Beach Bar Association. He also hosts “Your Voice for Justice” Radio Show
on Saturdays from 2 PM to 3 PM EST on WHTK Freedom 1650 AM Radio.
