Justice For All Radio Show With Host Attorney George Yates & Guest Howard Covington

There was a time in this country not that long ago when a young black man just graduated from the University of North Carolina Law School was denied the right to vote in his home state. That same man later became an Assistant United States Attorney in the Middle District of North Carolina, but was often unable to find lodging because of his color, even when when he traveled in his home state on official government business. But times do change for the better, and this same man became the first Chief Justice of the North Carolina Supreme Court.
